Friday 13th

With 2012 hosting three friday 13th's, 13 weeks apart from each other, we took last nights opportunity to create our darkest track yet.

Now we (I Invented Fire) have a couple of gigs under our belt, we have taken some time to chill and do a few things while we find a new rehearsal space (we lost our old room due to someone else's behaviour).

We have new material Myself and Tommy Roberts have been writing aswell as material that Jack White has written to complete and add to our set list (we're aiming for an hour and half of music)

As well as this, I myself will be working towards my own debut solo release featuring guest musicians (basically my friends) which is being mixed by Leon Kenny and Leon will also be featured on the E.P playing Lead Guitar as well as other Instruments.

I Invented Fire upto date...

so a new baby of mine was born, a new project, with some very cool down to earth guys, and we go by the name of 'I Invented Fire' which is basically to cut a long story short, a name based around spirituality and Rock Music.

We played our first 2 shows earlier this month and it went down a storm both with ourselves and with the people watching us.

I'm very proud and happy to be where I am right now, starting over again, on fresh ground with level headed people who understand music extremely well.

I don't really like blowing smoke up my own arse, so I'll just get on with things and post some links to places you can visit to see us and hear us in action.

We also have a live demo's e.p coming pretty soon so be sure to keep an eye out for that on both the bands Facebook and my own personal social networking sites.

The New Band

3 months ago I joined a new band.
We've set out to release what we can, and create as much as possible and the guys I'm working with are all very very good Musicians.
We are currently rehearsing for our debut E.P which we head to the studio to record and complete on the 30-4-12.
We're already booking gigs to showcase our music and we will soon be inviting our friends and family to our rehearsal space to view our set before we begin playing live in the summer.

Rehearsing and what not...

With our fourth rehearsal being last night (28-3-2012) I took my handheld recorder to our little space where we create together and this is what we came up with.
